The following was posted by Divshan Rhoten on Facebook (May 11,2019). I loved this and wanted to share it with you as well. Enjoy!

When we raise (lift up) our right hand to swear to tell the truth..the person we are lifting our hand to sees, whether they know it or not, Yeshua’s Name in our hand. Both of our hands have His name in them. So why do we raise the RIGHT hand? because the right hand is controlled by the left side of the brain where our decisions are made. When we raise our right hand we are lifting up the Truth, we are lifting up Yeshua Messiah!!

WE ARE TO BIND GOD’S WORDS ON OUR HANDS AND FINGERS…His NAME is spelled out in the bones of our hands. “Therefore place these words of Mine upon your heart and upon your soul………And you shall bind them as a sign (mark) upon your HAND and they shall be reminders between your eyes.” Deuteronomy 6:4, 6:11

“My son, keep My words and treasure My Commands WITHIN you, keep My Commands and live, and My Law as the apple of your eye; Bind them on your FINGERS , write them on the tablet of your heart.” Proverbs 7:1-3

This is why we lift up our hands IN HIS NAME!!

Praise YHWH forever and ever for we are fearfully and wonderfully made!!

When Yeshua was crucified the iron nails in the palms of His hands symbolized the Law of God and the tree He was nailed to symbolized His people…He (His hands) is between the nails (Law) and His people (the tree)…so Yeshua is forever affixed to His people by the nails in His hands. His Name is in His hands just as it is in our hands!

The 5 fingers are the 5 Books of Moses..the Law of Moses and the 10 fingers are the Ten Commandments that all of God’s Laws fall under. And the 2 hands are the 2 Stone Tablets they are written upon!

We write with our hands and our hands are a symbol of our actions or when God’s Law (Light) guides us to do (hands) what’s right His Law is written on our heart (mind)

A man and his wife together are one in YHWH. When a man holds his wife’s hand, his five fingers join together with her five fingers…together they are ten fingers giving glory to God in their obedience to His Law.

This is all symbolic so think about these symbols carefully for the physical world teaches us about spiritual truth…

a woman symbolizes the bride of Messiah…

if a woman (bride of Messiah) is attacked by an evil man (symbol of satan) she puts up her 2 hands (2 stone tablets)
to defend herself and uses her 10 fingers which each have nails (10 commandments) to fight back leaving scratch marks (judgment) on the evil attacker (satan) and his dna evidence (guilty blood) is found UNDER her finger nails(God’s Law). It is the NAILS from the fingers that hold the dna evidence, the guilty blood…like the NAILS that crucified Messiah..the NAILS are the Law of God!!

It is our 2 hands and 10 fingers, five on each hand, that place the bread, Yeshua The Word, into our mouth which keeps us alive and we wash the bread (The Word) down our throat (the neck symbolizes faith as it connects the body to the Head who is Messiah) with wine (His blood) which keeps us from choking on the bread (the Word)!!

MORE SYMBOLISM IN OUR HANDS… We bring violence into our hands when we make a fist and use it to harm another person. In order to make a fist one must BEND their 5 fingers…the 5 fingers symbolize the 5 Books of Moses…the Law of Moses.

“Fear not for I AM with you, be not dismayed for I AM your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, yes I will uphold you with the RIGHT HAND OF MY RIGHTEOUSNESS.” Isaiah 41:10

“God is exalted in His power; Who is a Teacher like Him?” Job 36:22

“You call Me Lord and Teacher and rightly so for that is what I AM.” John 13:13

“O Give thanks unto YHWH and call upon His NAME, let the whole world know what He has done! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him, talk of all His wondrous works! Glory in His holy NAME. Let the heart of them who seek YHWH rejoice, seek YHWH and His strength seek His Face forevermore! Psalm 105:1-4

“Therefore whether you eat or drink or whatsoever you do, do ALL to the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31

“For in Him we live and MOVE and have our being…for we are also His offspring.” Acts 17:28

You were created in the image of a holy God. The Law of God is holy. Yeshua the Son is the Word of God. The Word of God is His Law. You were created in the IMAGE OF THE LAW OF GOD!! Live in holiness to God…this is your purpose in life.

Raise Your Praise

Bummer Lambs

I read this piece on Facebook and thought it interesting, mixed emotions, but came to understand the value of knowing the shepherd’s voice. I did not write this story, the author is unknown, but felt the message a good one to share.

Every once in a while, a ewe will give birth to a lamb and reject it. There are many reasons she may do this. If the lamb is returned to the ewe, the mother may even kick the poor animal away. Once a ewe rejects one of her lambs, she will never change her mind. These little lambs will hang their heads so low that it looks like something is wrong with its neck. Their spirit is broken. These lambs are called “bummer lambs.” Unless the shepherd intervenes, that lamb will die, rejected and alone. So, do you know what the shepherd does? He takes that rejected little one into his home, hand-feeds it and keep it warm by the fire. He will wrap it up with blankets and hold it to his chest so the bummer can hear his heartbeat. Once the lamb is strong enough, the shepherd will place it back in the field with the rest of the flock. But that sheep never forgets how the shepherd cared for him when his mother rejected him. When the shepherd calls for the flock, guess who runs to him first? That is right, the bummer sheep. He knows his voice intimately. It is not that the bummer lamb is loved more, it just knows intimately the one who loves it. It’s not that it is loved more, it just believes it because it has experienced love one on one. So many of us are bummer lambs, rejected and broken. But He is the good Shepherd. He cares for our every need and holds us close to His heart so we can hear His heartbeat. We may be broken but we are deeply loved by the Shepherd.  (Author Unknown)
